Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Opportunities with The Medical Affairs Company

We offer clients an impressive complement of both strategic and tactical Medical Affairs solutions, including field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) programs and Medical Communications support.

MSLs establish, develop and foster collaborative relationships between thought leaders and the pharmaceutical industry, progressing the advancement of science and medicine. MSLs provide medical information through scientific exchange in a fair and balanced manner, as well as, discuss disease states and approved therapeutic options. Our MSL teams engage in the full spectrum of scientific exchange, including: new approaches to disease management; new product introductions; product expansions; and medically accepted practice issues.

Overall requirements:

PharmD, PhD, MD or NP
2+ years MSL experience is Required
Recent experience in the particular disease state
Managed Care experience
Pharmaceutical industry experience (MSL, Medical Information, Sales, R & D)
Knowledge of FDA requirements
Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication
Ability to integrate and work in cross functional network
Demonstrated project management ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel up to 50% (approx.8-10 overnights per month)
Valid driver’s license
